what difference with 45 Design?

My one issue with the 314CE is the loss of volume in the b and high e strings. Could have something to do with the bolt-on neck. Not sure. I own the J45 standard and the 314CE. Both are beautiful guitars, but If I'm being honest, I prefer the sound of the J45 a little more. Both are keepers.

Back and sides?

Prefer Taylor. But you need to test similar body shapes. That affects the difference in sound, beyond the differences in manufacturing.

It sound nice but is a little thin and boxy in the bottom end....nothing like the LL16 user-VZ6 ....I got one. Sounds like a mid grade guitar....not the richness of a very good guitar....like a great LL16 with powerful bottom end and rich highs (They're not all great!)

Have have a D28 authentic 1937 that sounds a whole lot better than the D28 in this video. However, I will play and probably buy a 914ce this week which is why I found this video. I know I’ll miss the Martin pop.

Sounds massive ❤!

This Martin has higher volume but this Taylor has better tone clarity. I think this Taylor sounds better in my ears and by the way, I own an HD-28V.

I've heard great 16's and dog 16's.....got to play them! That one sounds good.
